Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Baseok ("the service"), operated by Baseok ("we", "us", "our"), founded in 2025. By creating an account, requesting early access, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you're using Baseok on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind that company.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in-product before they take effect.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Baseok.

3. How Baseok works with your tools

Baseok connects to third-party tools you choose to authorise, using standard OAuth. We act on your instructions and, by default, ask for your confirmation before any action that sends, creates, or updates data. You remain responsible for the commands you run and the automations you enable.

Your relationship with each connected tool is still governed by that tool's own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you won't:

• Use Baseok for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
• Attempt to break, probe, or circumvent our security or access controls;
• Reverse engineer or resell the service except as the law allows;
• Send spam or violate the rights of others, including through connected tools.

5. Plans, billing & changes

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis in GBP. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account; changes apply at the next billing cycle. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is honoured for the lifetime of a continuous subscription. Refunds are handled under our refund policy.

6. Intellectual property

We own the service and its underlying software, design, and content. You own your data and the records Baseok builds from it. You grant us a limited licence to process your data only to operate and improve the service for you.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Baseok surfaces insights and benchmarks to help you make decisions; it does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On termination you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
